In a quest to branch out of sports design and to learn more about the great state of Arizona, I wanted to make a poster for each of Arizona’s six National Forests (Kaibab, Coconino, Prescott, Apache-Sitgreaves, Tonto, Coronado). Using familiar mountain silhouettes to the area to guide the text around the top of the poster I opened up the bottom third of the poster to write a concise summary of each National Forest, their ranger districts, sights to see and commonly seen animals. To accompany the text I highlight four plants or animals that can be seen in each National Forest.
