About Me

My name is Aryton Temcio and I am a Sports Multimedia Journalist currently studying at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communications at Arizona State University with an expected graduation in May of 2025. I have over three years of experience creating content with the Adobe Creative Suite, most of which was spent in Photoshop and Illustrator designing graphics. During my time with Cronkite Sports and MMA Underground I gained experience managing social media and engaging with audiences online through captions, graphics and more. I have had the opportunity to publish articles for AZPreps365.com and mixedmartialarts.com, gaining familiarity with the editing process, reporting and writing. Since the summer of 2024 I have been apart of Cronkite News as a digital and social producer for both the news and the sports bureau where I have gained valuable experience on how to efficiently be apart of a newsroom.

In my time at the Walter Cronkite School I have been able to be the beat reporter for a local Arizona high school volleyball team, cover the National Park Service’s updated knowledge of Arizona’s rich Native American History, and curate a photography project that shows the effects of wildfire in central Arizona. Outside of my work done through Arizona State I have contributed written fight previews for upcoming UFC Main Events for MMA Underground as well as sharing over 50 personal sports graphics and fictional NBA Jersey Concepts that are posted throughout my X/Twitter (@freckledmamba) and occasionally to my Behance (www.behance.net/arytontemcio).
